Susan has over 17 years of progressive leadership and clinical experience in hospice and is a Certified Hospice Palliative Care Administrator. She also holds a number of other certifications in hospice compliance, end of life care, and leadership.
Committed to our 125-year mission, Susan comes to Calvary from MJHS Hospice & Palliative Care, where she served SVP of Business Development. Prior to that, she worked in behavioral health as a Clinical Therapist, and early in her career in business development and marketing with such brands as Morgan Stanley, CIGNA, and Sony.
Susan will lead and develop Hospice by invigorating and strengthening Calvary’s role in our community through education and excellent service. I know some of her priorities include making access to hospice more equitable, expanding “the conversation” about end-of-life care options, and building our capacity to respond to more demand for CalvaryCare®.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Marketing focus from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Social Work from New York University. She has served as a Board Trustee for the last seven years with Hospice & Palliative Care Association of New York and is currently Vice Chair for the Governance Committee.
