How Our Family Care Team Supports Patients and Families
From the moment a patient is admitted, they are assigned a Social Worker/Family Care Practitioner who helps guide them and their loved ones through every step of their journey. Their support includes:

• Emotional and Psychological Care: Providing counseling and grief support to patients and families.
• Practical Assistance: Helping with paperwork, insurance, and end-of-life planning.
• Family Advocacy: Ensuring families understand care options and can make informed decisions.

Unlike other hospitals, Calvary welcomes visitors at any time, including pets, because we believe no one should feel alone at the end of life.
